Good pub, but more of a football pub. just started serving food and added a kiddie park and that is about it...

Another milton pub I have used on and off for years but in the last 6 months I would say it has become a rowdy unpleasant atmosphere rather than the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of old. I dont bother with these 3 pubs anymore as the milton still feels like a fight waiting to happen and now Graham has left the Travellers I imagine that will be closed soon.

The pub is now in the hands of new owners, who have chosen to readmit many of those barred by the previous landlady. The beers are probably the same, but the atmosphere is now that of a "lads pub" for those who like that sort of thing.

As a real ale attraction, only London Pride and HSB. As a pub, very friendly and very well patronised by locals and others not so local, including fans of visiting football clubs happily rubbing shoulders with Pompey fans in a crowded pre-match session. Free food on Sundays around 4 - 5 o'clock has long been an attraction under the current owners, although they are leaving in September 2009.

Went in here as an away fan prior to Portsmouth's game vs Bristol City on Jan 3rd 2008. Pleasant pub if a bit cramped (plenty of outside seating, however, had the temperature been above freezing point). Mainly away fans. Good London Pride and various filled rolls to eat. Handy for the away end.
