| The Junction has long been a favourite haunt of many Newtown residents and for good reason. The bar is friendly, trouble free and a real multi-cultural meeting place with a great atmosphere. Although the front bar is quite small, there is a rear bar with a big screen and a pool table, which is opened when the front gets too full. The bar is well stocked and the draught beers immaculately kept. Prices are in keeping with the area but a 'happy hour' from 4-6PM sees the price of a pint drop well below anywhere but a Wetherspoons. Food is not available apart from the usual crisps and peanuts but you are in Cemetary Junction and have a serious choice of takeaways in easy reach.
