A Greene King place, so not expecting amazing things on the real ale front, but it had Summer Lightning and a Morland bitter I have not seen before. Also had a seasonal Greene King ale that I decided against trying, and went for the Summer Lightning at £3.35.

Large pub, flame grill type place, you know the score. Decent size beer garden out the front. Unfortunately the bogs stink, I can only describe them as "pissy" and in need of some improvement.

Minimum wage service, crap food on cold plates. The usual big chain pub but with a twist of bad attitude. I have had better times at the dentist.
Seriously, the worst pub in Wallasey.

Great atmosphere , fabulous food

Carvery was delicious here served Wednesday and sunday apparently , we visited on sunday afternoon full of families young and old alike enjoying sunday lunch together

Sports was being shown on the flat screen tv's but did not interfere with dining area at all

Real ale also available not really my kind of drink but hubby advised was "well kept"

considering the level of trade service was fab and staff were very attentive

would be going back here agian and advise you to too

Yes the front is quite nice, but spoilt at times by boy racers. I'll re-visit, but I think the comments are fair; the place has obviously gone down hill in recent years.
