| As the Landlady of this pub I’m obviously going to have a more biased attitude with my comments regarding this pub. I have only been here for 5 months and in that time I have moved on the “undesirables” and now have a lovely group of regular friendly drinkers of all ages. I have also introduced more real ales and take a lot of time and pride to ensure they are always or the best quality although I only have two hand pumps I work them on a rotation and have a variety of beers and the moment I am selling London Pride, Bombardier and Courage Best (kegged) next to come on will be Deuchers IPA. It’s a community based pub and everyone knows each other and there is no bother here just fun times and good laughs. I regularly hold family days with a bouncy castle and free bbq (weather permitting). And have recently spilt a lot of blood sweat and tears on making sure the garden is just right. So please regardless of what previous comments have been made about this pub I ensure you I work hard and my efforts are reflected in the way the pub now runs. So please come in it well worth popping in for even if it’s just to meet the soppy pub dogs Tinker and Albert, but you will stay for the welcoming atmosphere and the good quality of beer. dinkytinky - 22 Aug 2009 11:28 |
