| This pub's actually called The Bush, Blackbird and Thrush. I called in not long ago, mainly because someone had told me the place had closed. Nothing could be further from the truth - it's a thriving village local, providing, to all appearances, just what its varied clientele want from a pub - good beer, good food and a pleasant,relaxed atmosphere in which conversation thrives. It's a nice surprise in this part of the world to go into a pub and find a lively game of darts in progress. Nice too to see a few old faces surviving from the time, a good few years ago, when I used to use this pub a lot more regularly. Well worth finding. earlydrinker - 24 Sep 2007 17:55 |
