| Interesting comments, suggest everyone read a recent hygiene inspection report for this place before eating there. These inspections are conducted by an organisation called Scores On The Doors (SOTD) who work under the authority of the local Council. Here's a summary of what they said about this place: Food Hygiene - 1st June, 2007 Food Hygiene Award 2 Stars Confidence in Management Some Hygiene and Safety Poor Structural Good Suggest everyone look at the criteria that supports these report comments because 2 stars is not good when we look at the prices charged here ! | Now if you can avoid the sometimes very rude staff you may enjoy yourself here... I am not saying all the staff are rude just about 3 people... 2 I believe no longer work here. It is a nice pub apart from that. The only other downside is that it is more expensive than The George Abbot across the road. I may visit again in the near future and report further. | Very pleasant sitting by the river on a summer's afternoon and an excellent pint of ESB too. Shame about the pansy stemmed pint glass, I shall ask for a straight next time.
