| Visited 12/9/08 and stand by what I originally said. A chav filled, drug fuelled, drunken dive. A BLOODY AWFUL Blot on the landscape of Harefield. Its teenage clientele (most underage) are having such an effect on local residents, we have asked the licensing officer at LBH to review its licence terms. | Ignore the older reviews as they are out of date. The new landlady (Jo) has turned the pub around, no loud teenaged kids, the occasional special day, older and generally better behaved (most of the time!) regulars. | Ex Pickle Jar crowd. Noisy and Loud with it. Punch Taverns (yes, that lot) have the place kind of up for sale. Not quite sure what the real situation is. Does really need to be taken away from both current tenant and PT. It would be great if someone "nice" bought it and eradicated the drugs, underage drinkers and all those that have been banned elsewhere in the village. MartinShaw - 5 Mar 2008 19:47 |
| This place is just awful. Used to be a kind of country pub – not any more...... The new manager, with the support of Punch Taverns, has managed to turn this “place” into a drug dealing, kid’s palace. The volume of music has no respect for local residents, as a result of which I am now committed to ensure this individuals’ licence is not renewed. Am in touch with local police (USELESS), local councillor and MP.
