Cape is located on Victoria Street, at the edge of the popular Lace Market district.
Inspired by Cape Town from which its name derives, Cape is smart, colonial and cosmopolitan, combining modern fixtures and colours with an extensive wine list, contemporary grazing menu and a South African sense of hospitality.
The interior of Cape offers a further insight into a colonial South African wine bar including soft leather booth seating, relaxing lounge areas and a mixture of light, wood and chrome.
Cape opens from 9am offering breakfast, brunch and a full contemporary menu from 11am including dishes such as marinated swordfish, a stone-baked pizza platter, skewers and salads and light bites. The bar offers a wide selection of premium brands, including South African wines and beers, as well as fresh coffee, smoothies and soft drinks.
Cape Lounge is a fantastic function space in the upstairs bar which is FREE to hire for corporate entertainment as well as personal occassions.

| I used to work at cape, its a nice place but i think they are trying too hard to be upmarket and classy. If you want a nice place to go to i recommend saltwater in the corner house, lloyds bar, and pitcher and piano. kgt88 - 21 Jan 2008 15:12 |
