The Basement was taken over by the Orange tree group on July 8th. Expect everything you love about our bars mixed up to create an alternative late bar & club theorangetreegroup - 4 Aug 2011 16:28
This place sucks big time. Too hot, too busy and full of drunk yobs who cant get in anywhere else. Avoid it like the plague. Satansfather - 10 Aug 2009 16:36
good selection of drinks, and varied music. good friendly atmosphere. can get very hot and crowded. more the sort of venue to head to towards the end of the night, due to its late opening times. Hot_Stuff - 17 Sep 2008 19:25
Not a pub but a late licensed bar/club. It all depends upon what floats your boat musically, but I found the indie night very enjoyable. Range of drinks is better than average given the kind of venue it is, but there's nothing to get too excited about. Long queues at the w/e post 11pm. insekt - 26 Oct 2007 16:36
A bit differet this pub. You go straight down stairs (unsuprisingly as its called The Basement) and you are hit slightly by the heat of the place, especially in the summer. However it does have a good atmosphere and the staff are friendly. A good drinks selection is also on offer with Fruli being served! nessasmith - 20 Mar 2007 08:48
