| Drink in this pub occasionally, very good atmosphere, landlady will do anything for anyone, 3 real ales spitfire, ringwood, flowers, 4 largers becks vier, carlsberg stella and fosters. open until 2 on a friday night, thats prob the best night out the the week to go anonymous - 24 Sep 2007 16:51 |

| Went to this pub just before 10pm on a Wednesday for a quick visit while waiting for a train. As I said, it's been done up, and looks quite smart. Atmosphere was poor - largely let down by the overpowering lighting that made it feel for like a shop. Has the one real ale - spitfire - and a bonus for cider drinking was Westons Old Rosie on the only other handpump. Another plus point was the bar billiards table. Thet really do need to getr that lighting sorted, and perhaps a choice of ales, then it'll be quite a decent place. tewey99 - 4 Jan 2007 17:42 |
