Closed, and what a tragic waste. Was a good pub for a couple of years when 'tarted up' which included the installation of a bar billiards table. Sussex Finals were held here just after it was renamed from the Fletchers Arms. Landlady now lives in Jersey.

This pub is now a pile of rubble that looks destined to become residential housing. It always was a 'station pub', then it was tarted up and someone stuck a huge, loud TV in the centre of it and people stopped coming; plainly a massive demographic error. About the only good thing I can say about it is it had some decent and unusual beers on tap and a sunny beer-garden.

urgh, horrible pub, horrible new management, people always wandering off to the toilets to put white powder up their nose!

Nice pub with nice staff. The young student who worked on Saturday afternoon was very friendly. But.. Come on guys, sort the toilets out. They are rank. Also, get rid of the silly hoodie boys outside that large it. Bless 'em.
