Finally, after years of uncertainty, CLOSED and converted to a private house.

It still advertises 8 cask ales outside.

But a typical selection these day is three, all from Greene King.

For those who like a traditional pub & pub atmosphere - in my humble opinion - this is not for you. I felt it had a modern, wine bar cum tapas bar feel to it ; a bit confused if you like.
Which I found a tad dispointing 'cos the range of ales was excellent.

Both the Wickwar 'Bankers Draft' & T.Taylor Dark Mild were lovely.

I'd definately recommend it for the range of ales

Now one of the best pubs in Woodbridge in my opinion. Owners Kim & Steve plus staff always very friendly and welcoming, and there are no fewer than 8 handpumps on the bar, serving a wide variety of well kept ales. Last night I had a superb pint of Timothy Taylor Dark Mild, which I have never seen before in this part of the world! For lager drinkers I can recommend the draught Staropramen, imported from the Czech Republic - at 5% it beats Stella hands down!!! Fun quiz night held once a week on Tuedays.

Now reopened, under a new name: the Sekforde Tap (sic).

A free house with four changing real ales. Food starting soon.

Decor a bit stark, but maybe it'll mellow with time. For those to whom it matters (for the next three months), it's non-smoking indoors.
