please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

A perfect small(ish) traditional country pub and as good a pint of Robinson's Unicorn as you'll get. We were with locals so obviously finding it wasn't a problem but it's a stunning walk up to the pub. We had kids with us and it was no problem whatsoever with friendly staff and customers. Real fire which was welcome on a January afternoon. Can't wait to visit this pub again.

Lovely quiet pub tucked away in the countryside, not easy to find (yay!!) and a steep walk up the bridleway from the station.
Small selection of beers, but each one was fine.
Don't be put off by the "Sky Sports" sign, most of the pub is unnaffected by the TV!
Loking forward to visiting again on a warm summer's day, if we get one this year.

Unspoilt country pub catering for a mix of locals, families, walkers etc. Basic food, pool, darts, open fire. Good beer. Hard to find in a tiny hamlet about a mile from New Mills, but worth the trip. Great walks all around.

Robinson's Brewery. Small and cosy with winter fires. Popular with summer walkers as has acres of outside drinking space. Food, car park, pool table, darts, TV, children allowed.
