| I liked the dog that greeted me, and the staff seemed eager enough to pour me a pint on a busy darts night. | Walked in and was instantly greeted by the entire bar full of orcs, troglodytes and chavs looking round and gawping which was a bad sign to start with and was expected to be asked if I was local or something similar to a League Of Gentlemen type thing. As for the pub itself, well it would seem to be something from a shanty town and as for the beer I've tasted better dishwater. For once I nearly found myself going down The Naval & Military which is saying something, admittedly it was a close miss and ended up going down the Vitoria instead!!! anonymous - 15 Apr 2007 12:45 |
