The Coach is under new management and is heading in the right direction, superb selection of real ales twinned with fun loving people and SKY SPORTS on the telly seem to be taking this pub forwards................the selection of live entertainment on the weekends also helps with the landlords wanting to encourage any local musicians to play there.pool competition on thursdays and a quiz to be started on sunday nights.......looks like daventry could have a real community pub on its hands

This pub was quite quiet on Sunday evening, with a couple of people playing pool at the rear of the bar and another couple by the entrance. Courage Directors was the only real ale pumpclip displayed. The interior is quite pleasant with a mixture of stone floors and floorboards. Seating is mainly bench seating with stools at tables around the walls. Exposed brickwork lends to the character. Music was playing but not at an excessive volume. A patio and garden can be found at the rear. Altogether, this was a reasonable pub in a not too inspiring area.

Great little pub, has juke box, games machine and a good atmosphere unlike the Saracens Head which is full of young hooligans! Weekend is usually buzzing, they throw the best Christmas Eve party. Age ranges from 16 - elders.
