| Stopped off for Sunday lunch big mistake ! Roast dinner was ordered by myself and my partner both meals were below average for the cost. The roast potatoes were Aunt Bessie the cauliflower had strange taste of vinegar obviously pre cooked and kept in a solution to keep the colour and the carrots were well past their best. The service was very good and the waitress very helpful in getting me gravy as it had been overlooked, unfortunately it was so salty I gave it a miss I just wished we had done the same to the food jcf65 - 11 Jul 2010 23:25 |
| I can only agree with Incumbent. Although I'd substitute 'a touch' for very unwelcome. First contact with mine host, "Hallo, can I have a pint of guinness please?" Answer, "No". Just that. Not "I'm sorry, we don't have draught guiness". It's just before 2 in the afternoon and there were no other diners in, at all. We sat at a table. We were then moved, no explanation was offered.
