| This Pub is a very friendly place to go I have only lived in this area fro two months and I decided to go in for a drink. As soon as you walk in, the bar staff are friendly and polite and know what they are doing. The place in very much a regulars bar in the smoking area (which is completely seperate from the no smoking area) and I felt a little on edge when I went in but everybody who goes in this pub is friendly and I have had some great nights in here. The restaurant is quite large and nicely decorated and comfy. Everytime myself and my family have been in for food there seems to be one waitress there and she is very friendly and professional. The food is basic but nice and priced quite cheap compared to the portions you get. They have a set sunday menu which is great. You can have a 3 course meal for very cheap and again the portions are great. The only thing I would say bad about the restaurant is that the desserts arent upto much but after youve eaten a main meal with huge portions I doubt youll be able to handle a dessert. All in all the Buxton in is a warm friendly place with great staff and fantastic regulars. I have never had a problem or even seen a problem there. It is a nice village pub with nice people who are out to have a good time in a great pub. Tasha Limton - 14 Sep 2006 18:45 |
