The Drapers has closed. Best bet nearby is the Duchess of Kent on Liverpool Road for a decent pint & a good bite to eat. werner_von_braun - 31 Aug 2008 03:29
ok but make sure you leave the right way as you don't want a nail gun in your head if you take the wrong turn after a goo evening. o.huntersmith - 10 Jun 2008 14:23
This place was shocking. Went for Sunday lunch - the staff seem to have returned to being rude and nonchalant. The menu was not their normal menu (we weren't told why) and resembled something more at home in a Happy Eater. The decor is tired, the staff are rude and the menu is uninspiring. We left to go to the Albion instead. I would not go here again. jiminee - 1 Jun 2008 19:09
visited this place on a saturday night and had a meal upstiars. The staff were friendly, food was below average. The sausages in the sausage and mash had been reheated(possibly a few days old) and the Scallops in the pasta had a rather unpleasant strong fishy aroma. I dont think we would return here for food again but downstairs looked and sounded very vibrant so would maybe consider returning here for drinks. The decor in the upstairs room (white floor boards)gives the place a very unusual feel, kind of felt like eating dinner on an ice rink not in a cosy gastro pub. Its very dissapointing to be served old food !! jamunji - 28 Apr 2008 13:43
Very fancy gastro pub, possibly the poshest place I've ever been in that can still (just about) call itself a pub. Excellent food, decent beer garden out the back. BobsHarmonica - 14 Apr 2008 20:03
