Very good choice of unusual ales. Food good too!

And oh how they dance, those little children of Stone Henge!

Hopefully they where just having a bad day. Refused my first pint as it resembled milk, this can happen a beer gets to the end of barrel unnoticed barman went to change barrel, pulled some through then replaced my pint saying as it was a pale beer it would take time to clear. Clearly either he had not pulled enough through or the new barrel had not had time to settle as the replacement was still not right but I gave it a go my wifes beer was clear but tasted very stale we did not finish them and will not be returning.

A small city centre pub with a reverse L shaped bar. Four ales on - two regulars and two changeable ones. I tried the Old Dairy Red top and the Whitstable IPA both of which were well kept and in good nic. It is rumoured that the arch-bishop drops in for an odd quaff of ale now and then.

Visited last Friday, a haven in the centre of tourist choked Caterbury, great beer selection served in good condition. Only complaint, ordered home cooked ham egg and chips and got 3 thin slices of preformed supermarket 'ham', absolute rubbish and very poor value for money.Keep to the beer and you wont go far wrong. I'll rate it as 7 on the beer quality alone.
