| Thwaites pub with potential if it wasn't for the poorly kept ales and scowling service. As one of the locals said 'If you're waiting for the landlady to notice to top up your beer, you'll be waiting a long time'. Real ales are Thwaites Bitter and Lancaster Bomber.
