user reviews of the Three Brewers, Wokingham

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

This pub can be very up and down. On the one hand it can be a very welcoming, lively and hillarious little boozer, with characters right out of some bizare film. Good banter, a real feel of comeradery and a place you could call a favourite.

However, on other nights you could walk in and not recognise the place. Young and brash teenagers, swearing and agressive language, and no recognisable faces.

It's more often good than not, but the first pint is often 'the tester' to see if you will stay or go.

Extremly welcoming, friendly locals however thier signing ability after a few drinks is not good...haha! Wide selection of largers n bitters. Bar has cleaned up alot since new owners been in. Pub Abides by pubwatch strictly. Good choice on jukebox. Watch out Rodders he's quiet but deadly and Norm will have you in stitches.

I walked back in to this pub after 4 months and my what a difference has the new landlady and her daughters have made.

It has almost restored itself to the good old days, with the return of CD Jukebox, open fire and relaxed atmosphere.

The bar pumps have been updated with a wider selection of chilled largers and traditional ales. Now having 3 ales on.

And oh my they now even have Three plasma screens and a wii console that seems to have most of the punters addidcted to.

I think it is safe to say i will be returning regulary to a friendly face and a warm atmosphere that the Three Brewers offers.

Beer range small but always tasty. Fella in charge looking to take more control and hopefully make the range more exciting.

Good pub.

Recently refurbed and a lot the better for it, a lot cleaner and makes better use of the beer garden and has widescreen TV's with the aspect ratios correctly set. This is a real locals pub.

Two real ales on tonight (Flowers and Courage Best) both tasted very good. Barman looked like Gollum.

Well worth ducking in for a pint and handily close to the station.
