Recently dined here on a Saturday evening, whilst on a short break in Faversham. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Mexican food was tasty and well presented- large portions and good value for money. Nice creek side location. Would definitely visit again. Basilthedog - 6 Jun 2011 12:17
Food is always amazing, never had a bad meal. Good atmosphere and really friendly staff. If you ask nicely they will always accommodate. Brilliant voucher scheme and on the Faversham card scheme. Annanns - 18 Feb 2011 17:54
Great pub .. not really a local but more for dining .. Great Mexican food and I would reccomend the Fahitas.. Site on the Creek with ample car park .. perfect on a summers day or cold winter night. Friendly staff especially waitresses. charlieFarnsbarnes - 20 Jul 2010 16:19
Had a very nice time here last night with friends. Service was friendly, good and fairly laid back, but not overly attentive. Food was of a very good quality, although if we'd known the size of the mains we would have skipped the starters! My friend and I both wanted the duck fajita, so the waitress recommended we share a double, and it was more than enough for us to share (and saved a few quid on the bill as well!). Might be a tad expensive for Faversham, but you do get a lot for the money (starters, mains, 6 drinks, and coffee was £94 - tap water was free and they were happy to provide more). Beer was good (late red) and well kept, but shame they only had that and master brew on. After we had stuffed ourselves, we asked if we could move outside and have coffee, offering to settle up and pay for the coffees in advance. No problem, they said - and you can settle up after the coffee as well. Nice touch. blueallover - 6 Jun 2010 08:39
A bit nervous to be invited to lunch here after reading the reviews below, but, it was fine - friendly staff, standard Shep's range of beers, all in all a very pleasant, if not exceptional, experience. Would I go back? Not to make a special trip but no where near as bad as others have reported (and I'm fussy!) The_Man_From_Soil - 1 Mar 2010 10:55
