| This doesn't really look like a pub from the outside and it is down a small country track a bit out of the way. It was quite busy when I went in one Friday lunchtime recently. The pint of Crouch Vale Best was tip-top. I had the carvery lunch, which was mediocre really, with runner beans from the freezer and beef that would have seen off most people wearing dentures.
