Nice garden, shame about just about everything else.

Poncey, over-priced, pretentious 'zeitgeist' pub (look it up). The kind of place which just doesn't quite belong.

ON a plus note, they do seem to be doing a BBQ, and having sat out in the garden in what this country would call summer, the beer garden is worth a visit, and the staff do at least move the heaters for you....

I just don't like the clientelle. Or the beer. And that's all quite important. But others will, so what's my view?

I made the mistake of asking for a Bacardi Breezer and recieved a sour response, as if I had committed some dreadful crime. Sorry sir, we only serve fruit-flavoured Polish vodkas that taste like tractor fuel and cost as much as a one-bedroom flat. This is a haunt of obnoxiously trendly people including the most unpleasant man who ever edited the Today programme. If they don't like the look of you, if you can squeeze past the sharp-elbowed flaneurs, bibulous adulterers and trendy half-wits who drink in this place, you won't get served. Oh and did I mention the city types, pretending that they have interests in life other than money and screwing each other. I would rather drink poison than go in there again.

Slightly mystified by some of the negative postings on here. In three or four visits, I've never failed to be impressed. Staff are friendly without being over-familiar - service is great, and not overly expensive given Imbibe's location.

Possibly swamped by the suited, loud-mouth, after-work crowd but delightfully inviting mid afternoon when the sun is shining. Good selection of wines. Beer garden is attractive and inviting for smokers. Regular BBQs are unambitious but reasonable value.

I've been here two or three times in the last couple of years since I started working in the area. It's not a bad place, lacks a bit in personality inside but the garden is just the job for summer (if only...). Never been here late at night so can't comment there. The staff are friendly and it's pretty clean.

Average wannabe trendy London bar...

Nothing massively wrong with it.
Just a bit bland
