Go for the quiz on a Tuesday. Quiz is good with the Chris Moyles sound alike. However that's where it ends. The food is diabolically below standard. For such a nice looking pub it is ruined by attrocious offerings. The burgers have no thought put into them , are usual on the cold side and taste has been sucked out , not bad for £8 a pop. Ok , now onto the staff, just very lifeless and miserable. They are not a very warm. I am dreading the barbecue starting again soon cos they are letigously bad. Opaque buns with burnt offering. Come on pull your finger out. Yes there are a lot of people attend for the quiz , just don't fall apart. Eat beforehand steviegw - 13 May 2010 02:24

I've been here a few times recently and booked it for our wedding reception. The garden is excellent in summer and our reception was fantastic. The staff in particular were really helpful and they put so much effort into making sure eveyrthing was as we wanted it and more. The food is tasty and a abargain, the drinks are about the same as you would expect to pay in central London. EJP - 11 Feb 2009 13:07
Nice garden, shame about just about everything else. Poncey, over-priced, pretentious 'zeitgeist' pub (look it up). The kind of place which just doesn't quite belong. ON a plus note, they do seem to be doing a BBQ, and having sat out in the garden in what this country would call summer, the beer garden is worth a visit, and the staff do at least move the heaters for you.... I just don't like the clientelle. Or the beer. And that's all quite important. But others will, so what's my view? rampantwurzel - 1 Oct 2008 16:17
