| I have visited this pub many times over the years. George the land lord is the longest serving landlord in the town. He is a down to earth guy and has changed things as needed over the years. It used to be a big darts pub and locals pub and now he has got rid of the dart board and has live music every weekend. He always has good friendly staff and the cellar is always very clean and the food that Beryl does is lovely. I hope he stays there a long time. rich613 - 19 Nov 2010 10:58 |
| I love pubs like this. It looks and feels like a pub. No gimmicks and friendly staff. Choice of ale was a bit thin but the Masterbrew was very nice and reasonably priced for somewhere on the sea front. zapsincl - 22 May 2010 10:23 |
