| I've lived in the area for a number of years and only recently made it round to this lovely little place. I found it very friendly (staff and locals), the drinks were good and reasonably priced too. | A fantastic local, Pete and Cath are great landlords. It has all the right ingredients, good pub grub, excellent beer and great company. They are always happy to put the rugby on when there are internationals and I definately recommend the fortnightly quiz on a Wednesday night, although its more like a one man comedy routine, hilarious and you dont have to be a pub quiz geek to have a great night!
