| A wonderful bar/restaurant. I go there nearly every week after playing table tennis at the local leisure centre. It's a fine place: friendly, cheap freshly cooked food, varied music policy (not too loud) and a mixed clientele - quirky locals, students, office types and perspiring, red-faced yet well-toned athletes like me. Minor niggle: gets a bit smokey for me sometimes, and errr...one of the five pool cues has a slightly wonky tip. God knows why it isn't in many other bar guides/cheap eats guides, as there are few other decent options in the area, but hopefully that's keeping it special for us afficionados.
