Cosy old skool drinking den in a converted fish cellar.

A crazy amount of ales on offer, would like to visit again when I have more time.

7/10

A one bar free house housed in an old fish cellar.

Very, very popular and always packed and difficult to find a seat! The reason why is friendly staff serving a variety of real ales, all of which were 'local' at time of visit and all in very good condition. I am not sure just how many there were on tap but must have been at least 8 plus cider.

Great location as well...right on the quay. Falmouth has a variety of pubs like most towns, but if you like good beer served with a smile then this has to be one of the best in town.

10 real ales on handpull now available at all times and with better condition thanks to our newly built dedicated cask ale cellar, with another 4 handpulls being fitted soon so that our real ciders can also be served at a cooler temperature. The focus will still be mainly on Cornish brewers and producers, but with more out of county guests also featuring. Again, thanks to all of our customers, old and new for a fantastic summer season, looking forward to a lovely winter & Christmas with plenty of porters, stouts and winter warmers. See you at the bar, Matt :)

This pub is a cellar on the edge of Falmouth Harbour, they stock about ten ales(a beer festival every day!) at a time mostly on gravity the Porthleven from Skinners was top hole. They do not sell food and encourage you to bring in your own, the fish shop at the front( the front is at the back, confusing, just a bit) is the usual beneficiary as it does award winning fish and chips of an unbelievably good standard. The other drinkers were either students or pensioners, it was a lunchtime.Probably as important to real ale devotees in Cornwall as the Star Inn at Crowlas or the Blue Anchor at Helston.

Easily one of the best pubs I've ever been in. An outstanding range of ales - Falmouth's own permanent ale festival - which are always well kept, and the variety of bottles and ciders, both local and from afar, just top up any visit. The staff are knowledgable and extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is excellent. There's always someone to chat with and the location, as well as the fact you can bring in your own food, make it a well-rounded pub and a well-deserved CAMRA award winner.
