| visited while renting a holiday cottage locally in October, really nice young couple running it now, had one of the best meals i have ever eaten so came again 2 days later and was even better, Old Dairy Red top was in great form and the the best pint of Harveys I've ever had. | Nice little pub two miles up the hill from Rye.Used to have a massive beer garden which appears to have been mostly sold off for development.Nevertheless,a great choice for a lazy sunday lunch,friendly,good food and a country pub feel. parsons - 19 Jun 2007 16:21 |
| Found this delightful pub quite by chance last weekend. A warm welcome and a choice of three real ales.
