spent the week end in Hastings with my extended family at the Haven up the road from here, we went in on a Saturday evening about six thirty, and allthough we hadn't booked, asked if they could handle a party of thirteen adults and three kids, which they managed quite admirably by shuffling a few tables about, our food came out pretty much together, and was very nice, the beer was well kept, i tried the kents best and master brew both of which were very nice, shame there was no bishops finger, but never mind, the staff were helpful and friendly, the pub is a lovely traditiopnal old building with a great beer garden,i would deffinately go back, but may be i'd book next time if turning up with such a large group vinnnie - 19 May 2008 13:57
A fine pub - very friendly and welcoming. Shepherd Neame beer, not my favourite but they are served in excellent condition. Floyd - 24 Nov 2007 16:32

The Bull Inn offers a range of Shepherd Neame real ales, the present landlords have been on site about 3 years and have recently won the PUB OF THE YEAR for the area. The glass I received for my pint was squeaky clean, a bit overdone on washing up chemicals and either that or "the first pint" off after pipe cleaning made my beer taste a bit chemically. I enjoyed it there but for that reason I can only give a 7. Great open fire on a cold day though. real_ale_ade - 15 Feb 2007 09:54
