Good quality draught Bass and an open fire on a very cold Boxing Day.

4 ales inc Doom Bar (nice pint). Busy when we went in on Saturday afternoon. Nice dry white wine

This pub came highly recommended. Staff were superb. Food was plentiful but the beer was average. I had a passable pint of Landlord, but the bombardier tasted sour. would have liked to see more micros represented

Nice interior, low ceilings, split into various small rooms. Good beer garden with bar and external televisions. Food was decent and huge portions. Had 4 good cask ales on but on the expensive side at £2.70 a pint.
