Dreadful service - booked a table only to be told three days later they were full and had to re-arrange for somewhere else.

Probably a blessing in disguise if that's how the treat prospective customers.

Wont be returning anytime soon

BAD SERVICE
We moved to Weybridge six months ago and this place is a stones throw from our door step. It has to be said the SERVICE is APPALLING. You enter and the staff ignore you at the bar and continue doing their various duties that DO NOT INVOLVE SERVING. I would like to say this is a one off, but alas we have gone back on several occasions and had to leave due to the inept staff. One time we went into the lovely looking restaurant, sat for 20 minutes without one of the MANY STAFF even coming across to ask if we would like a drink. Word to the Management, a successful place runs on your front of house staff, a place survives on word of mouth, your staff continue to let you down. Get staff that actually look like they want to serve, attempt a smile or even acknowledge that thy have customers is a simple thing, but obviously for the Oatlands Chaser they could not care less. LOUSY. And to the staff if you don't like your job, leave and take your miserable attitudes else where.

A friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend told us to go visit this place.

Verdict ...so we did & will never set foot in there ever again!

Reason...100 percent agree with a previous comment that the Staff have got attitude problems!! They are only bothered about themselves by thinking that it's policy to chat amongst themselves about what they got up to with their boyfriends the night before and not giving frankly a Sxxt about their customers and ignore you!

Solution....SACK THESE PARTICULAR STAFF MEMBERS !! There are plenty of other people looking for work which given the correct staff training would be more suitable. Otherwise quite frankly you will just keep on losing customers!!!!!!

Typical chain pub...lots of fake character, average beer, average food. The service tends to vary but never excellent. Not my first choice in the locale.

I moved to the area recently and was really pleased to see that we lived near a nice local pub how wrong was I. The 1st time we visited we were served my the landlady a nice friendly welcome good start i thought. So went back for some food only to sit at a table for 20 minutes without being served by one of the many staff who would rather chat to each other rather than the paying customer so we left and cooked instead, It had been a month and we fancied a pint and i thought ok we'll give it another go remembering the nice lady that served us before but unfortunatly we came across the most misrable bar man ever!! He decided to cash up the till instead of serve and proceeded to look grumpy not even acknowleding us i even heard him say he wanted to kill himself, all I can say if you don't like the job mate LEAVE!! So in the end we walked out and we drove to The Swan instead and will remain to do so in the future well until The Oatalnds Chaser is taken over again anyway.
