| I am not surprised this place is closing down and wouldn't miss it either! Why they say they are child friendly is beyond me - I asked if it was ok to come in New Years Eve for food with friends and our children. Was told as long as we were out by 7pm would be fine. There was quite a lot of us (We were pretty much the only people in the bar, other than about 5 other people). They were just totally stressed about the kids and worried they were going to pop their balloons that were on the floor for the evening (like adults really want balloons)!! The Bar woman and manager were making it quite clear they didn't want us there, a friend heard the Bar woman say "i'm going to strangle one of those kids in a minute" !! charming. 7 o clock and we were pretty much asked to leave - which probably took away their biggest trade that evening! party32 - 9 Feb 2009 11:24 |
