| odd place, carvery based business. Went on sunday walking past the A board that said food served all day, got drinks for my family went to order food and was told we have stopped serving!!! Table next to us were complaining about the food, the man said even the peas were over cooked. We stayed to finish our drinks, and watched. When our neibouring table ordered thier dessert the waitress assured the table the desserts were homemade, and when they arrived they clearly came out of a box. If i was managing this pub I would also clear up the empty boxes of frozen vegetables from the back door. mpt - 12 May 2010 10:37 |

| Went in as advertised as Under new Management'.Avoid like the plague.Pint of Becks and a tonic spritzer was £11.75....yes £11.75.My wife asked for extrs tonic as they only serve tiny bottles at £1.80 each..so 3@ £1.80 is £5.40..absolutely scandalous. I went for a safe steak as specials board was n/a on several items.My wife had a prawn salad which would have been better presented by my 7 year old granddaughter,even the waitress agreed that it was awful..never again lidiadaisy - 10 Apr 2008 22:50 |
