| Your typical suburban boozer with friendly service and a nice selection of ales from which I quaffed a well kept pint of Hophead. Quite large inside and does food although I didn't partake. | Popped in for a 'quick half'' after a brief stroll along the beach. Nice pub with a friendly barmaid. Good selection of local ales. We went in for the Arundel Gold but it wasn't on that week so had a Langham's Best Bitter instead. Tasty. Would like to have stayed for more but so many pubs....so little time.... | seems to be set up more for the food side of things, the restaurant bit is separate from the very small bar area that is more a stand up locals affair, had a nice well kept pint of some thing(cant remember) but as we wern't eating we moved on to some where a bit more intimate for a quite drink with the misses vinnnie - 19 May 2009 12:24 |
