There is a spacious outdoor decking area here, which is handy on a sunny day, but this pub fails the most important test for a pub...there are no real ales available. Hence I won't be hurrying back. karloff - 26 Oct 2006 10:20
`When I was a lad`.....this was actually a one room hotel....although full of goths!.....now it looks like you should pay a cupla quid for a laser gun as you go in & just shoot the baddies as they appear from the partitions.....ORISITJUSTME...Probably! kierandinan - 1 Apr 2005 00:31
used to be amazing on a friday despite the fact that the dj was a knob! but when it reopened fridays were never the same again! we liked it BECAUSE it was studenty and cheesy and it was the only decent late night cheap place at the weekend - but theyve ruined it! wastrels! my rating is for what it was ... sob! becks - 28 Oct 2004 19:47
The faversham has recently been sold and is undergoing refurbishment. It's looking quite promising at the minute. It looks so much brighter and the new beers are damn good. There are two new pool tables, pinball and one of those tabletop donkeykong machines. The soound system looks to be getting a long overdue overhaul and the food is looking up too. Word on the street is that the guys fmro the HIFI have bought the place. Dont know if thats true but if it is then im sure good things are to come! russ.mcfadden@orange.net - 10 Feb 2004 20:00
Good for daytime drinking if you're on campus. Food isn't all that special, more bar snacks really. Paulo - 21 Jan 2004 16:52
