| Used to go here on a night out in town with my other half and at times were the only people in the bar. They have destroyed the bar area by turning it in to a cross between a trendy wine bar and student union. I may just be bitter because we were turned away the last time we were in their for not being "residents" at the hotel by a snotty polish bar man. | Technically not a pub (it's an hotel) but they have just done out the bar to make a very trendy(if expensive) venue. Decorated with pretentious staged pictures of "local Suffolk folk" and staffed entirely by surly youths, nevertheless it's probably one of the smarter places to go in this otherwise poorly-served town.
