| Visited on 19th and 20th Feb and enjoyed the vibe in the one small bar that was open. Apparently a new tenant should be moving in in March and it is being temporarily managed until then. Good crowd of locals, wonderful open fire and welcoming landlord with excellent Adnam's Bitter & Woodforde Wherry on tap. No food in evidence but a generous range of Sunday lunchtime bar snacks provided. Looking forward to going back in the summer to find it still open.... martaddick - 20 Feb 2011 18:22 |

| After a recent change of hands, approx 6 months ago, this pub has now shut. Contrary to Smithjones' review below, the food was far too expensive given the competition in the area. | Lovely restaurant had a great night. Staff efficient, welcoming and accommodating. Food delicious and inexpensive good variety on menus. Decent selection of beers and wines. Would recommend Smithjones - 20 Dec 2010 19:41 |
