| A lovely looking place both inside and out just off the tourist trail of Torbay. Cosy inside with a maze of different seating areas, also a suntrap garden and benches out the front. Now the bad points. Our sunday roast was ok but the meat tasted cheap and nasty, also the staff just could not cope with a busy Sunday lunch, more staff need behind the bar. 6/10 montie49 - 14 Sep 2014 14:22 |

| Nice enough pub but when i was in i was kept waiting by unfriendly staff who then continued to serve locals who had come in after me. I pulled the guy up behind the bar who just stood there looking stupid and mumbling something about he hadnt seen me even though at one point there was only me at the bar waiting to be served as he continued talking to the barmaid, i gave them a piece of my mind and walked out. | A nice pub with a good cellar and nice surroundings. The real ale (Dartmoor) came out in very good condition. However, the afternoon visit was let down by the unfriendlyness of the young person behind the bar, no personality and no interest in any other customer than his couple of friends.
