| I agree with the other reviews, this is not a pub, instead, it is an absolutly fantastic French restaurant! The food is very fresh, of the highest quality, and locally sourced! The service is extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble for the staff! Personally, between the Guildhall, and The Rising Sun, they are the BEST two places to eat in Poole, for outright quality, and passion for the the food they serve. Fantastic! So much better than Hotel Du Vin round the corner... if you've not tried it, get yourselves down there soon... 10/10 tootall - 24 Apr 2009 02:49 |

| Looks like a normal pub from outside but when you get in you realise you have walked into a French restaurant! However, we were able to just have our drinks sat at the bar and found the two guys who run the place to be very sociable. Drinks were a touch expensive (restaurant prices!) but if you are a brandy connesieur you should check out their large collection - one of which will set you back �50 for a measure!!
