| The Royal Oak has now been open since August 2006. The pub has been refurbished to a lovely standard and they have weekly entertainment consisting of singers from an entertainment company. It is a friendly pub with a good character and atmosphere. It is also very popular for football as it is the busiest pub around that area on Manchester United match days.I do work there and have previously worked for Wetherspoons in M/cr so i know decent pubs and The Royal Oak is very high in my standards offering excellent entertainment.
