Been closed for staff training for weeks. don't think it will reopen as the croydon one has been closed for staff training since new year. Besides you couldn't go in for just a drink anymore,It had died off any way. Once the guys behind the bar left all the dregs started coming in as the woman couldn't turf them out. Pity as you did get a better standard of lady in there and generaly no idiots. Nearest comparason in sutton is Reds near the bingo hall. lazy - 10 Jul 2008 17:04

Oops what has happened to this place. It used to be Busy at weekends with the sort of people that you didn't feel the need to keep one eye on. However it's gone down hill fast in recent times as it's no longer busy and some of the drinkers you get there now look like they belong in the Red Lion or Dolphin. Didn't used to mind paying £3 for a average pint when it had a good atmosphere but can't say it's worth it now. Haven't been in for a few weeks so perhaps they've sorted that out. anonymous - 26 Nov 2007 13:19
I'd rather have forced over-mateyness than the kind of service you get in weatherspoons pubs. Nothing wrong with a polite welcome to a pub or bar. anonymous - 14 Aug 2007 13:48
