| Now under new management, Simon and his crew are doing a fantastic job at the Kings Lock Middlewich. Fantastic location situated on the banks of the Trent and Mersey Canal overlooking the "Kings Lock". Great home made food and a good selection of Ales, Lagers & Ciders. | Visited twice when cruising the Cheshire Ring. Excellent Taylors Landlord on our first visit. 2nd (Friday) visit disappointed - no real ale available for 24 hours (barrels still settling) so we left to quench our thirsty crew elsewhere. MG_the_beerhunter - 28 Sep 2008 18:41 |
A sign outside read “Under New Management”, which showed, as the staff were trying really hard to please. Lovely beer garden overlooking Kings Lock, on the Trent and Mersey canal. We sampled 5 different meals, including Sunday Lunch, and it was quite good. The pub was let down by selling Greene King’s appalling I.P.A. pubinspectors - 10 Oct 2007 09:07 |
