Went in here for the first time ever. The locals and the landlord are friendly. Cask Bass is available (passable condition) and they do keg M&B Mild, a real rarity these days. Just a classic old man's pub. dynamiteninja - 24 May 2011 08:29

since the shires are going to be improved in a modern way supposed to be finished sometime soon this pub will stick out like a sore old thumb stuck on a corner I can't say i have ever been inside but dare i go in as i imagine looking from the outside there may be dirty old men sitting at the bar and when i walk in with a friend they might think xmas has come early lisa8857 - 8 Apr 2008 13:08
Nice Guinness, good to see cheese and onion cobs available. This Pub has a sort of Irish feel, and I found the regulars to be very friendly and sociabel sparky40 - 14 Aug 2007 20:21
