| Seriously awful. If you're a real ale drinker (ie the vast minority) you might like the beer, otherwise you won't. The serving staff are horribly stroppy and the food...oh God where do I start... Served cold. All food is simply served cold. How can you get nachos wrong? How is that possible? Pitta bread and humous...if all you have to do is defrost it (don't you just love british cuisine) how can you get it wrong? The bread was cold and barely defrosted, the humous...I wouldn't have thought you could get that wrong. Awful, tasted of nothing. I've been sick and produced better food. To be honest, this was the worst pub I think I've ever been to. It's not even well located. Holmfirth promises so much but actually isn't that nice...prams in the river etc...but Herveys pub hammered the final nail in its coffin.
