| Since moving to the village a year ago my husband and I eat here every week. The food is good pub grub and the welcome is warm and friendly. | Through the years I've seen this place go up and down like a rollercoaster. The current owners are making a good go of it in the face of a historically downtrodden rep. The themed buffet nights are excellent and at 8.95pp just right for a meal out without trekking too far. There is a fair selection of well kept beers and ales. The pub is in a position to do well given the competition in the area and I think word is slowly getting round. No hard sell. Worth checking out if you haven't been for a while...
