Visited this pub and had the Sunday carvery. Very good value for money, plenty of good quality food and the staff were very friendly. Good selection of desserts too! On tap was Hobgoblin which is rare these days and a nice pint of Tribute. TheTrooper - 17 Jul 2011 18:35

20 seconds walk from the station entrance. Hourly train service from Ashford International or Eastbourne via Hastings. Visit! martins2 - 30 Dec 2009 22:54
Not eaten here but the Harveys the other afternoon was superb. Hope to visit again. martins2 - 28 Apr 2009 12:48
I particularly like the old railway network maps on the wall of this pub. Due to location it can sometimes be a bit quiet but the beer is good and it is is handy for anyone visiting the Hamstreet/Appledore/Brookland area as there are so few pubs offering accomodation in the area these days. The Red Lion is just a ten minute walk along the road too. agc2070 - 31 May 2008 15:36
