Cracking little pub - really friendly staff, good food and beer, and utterly unpretentious, which is an achievement in a rather pretentious town. Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. Worth a visit for sure. heliopolis - 22 Jul 2009 17:14

If you like Greene King IPA and the other rubbish beers that go with it, then this is the pub for you. It used to sell London Pride ond other good ales but there was no sign of them on a recent visit. It seems its another good pub that GK has ruined. anonymous - 7 Jun 2007 14:21
My favourite pub in Emsworth. Great service by the bar staff, remembered our drinks the following day after only having one round. It has a cosy friendly atmosphere. Have not eaten in here yet but the menu looks fabulous, made my mouth water just reading it. Looking forward to visiting again soon and having a meal. lucy75 - 22 Apr 2007 19:55
