| Built for a time when there were still two tower blocks casting a shadow, this is a strange but very friendly local pub in the "notorious" John Street area of Rochester. There are two bars, one of which is usually completely empty, and the other has a nice mix of locals, friendly staff, and a vocal parrot. Give it a try, you might be pleasantly surprised.
