| The Walsall Arms is situated in an old industrial street to the east of the town centre. It doesn't look promising at all. The interior has the feeling of a club and there is a skittles alley at the rear. Just the landlord and two local gents were in. They were soon replaced by two younger ladies on the wine. | I wish to echo ' mikastrauk ', the turnround has been fantastic for this well known watering hole , six handpulls with local and distant ales to tempt the palate, during my recent four visits my friends and I have been well pleased with the selection. The noted ' Skittle alley ' has been refurbished as a wellcome facility for the locallity. Food is also making a long missed feature, I will try it , and those that have already, say I have a treat coming. | Has now changed hands and i must say its fantastic !! Pub has since been bought and has been fully re-furbished .It is a freehouse with traditional ales run by the experienced publicans Jim and Gay chambers ( formerly from the successful Fountain Arms) in Lower Foster Street Open from 12 till late with great skittle nights and a private function room for parties etc....
